Today, at dinner, I accidentally let it slip that I'd taken a small sip of alcohol a few years ago and hated it. My extremely strict parents are now trying to get me into rehab. FML

I had a sip of alcohol when I was little and hated it, im now old enough to drink and I haven't had any since I had that sip years ago

Try a Raspberry Margarita Mike's. You'll never think of alcohol the same way again. I hate beer but could live on that stuff.

Alcoholic drinks vary in taste so enormously, you can't get any idea on whether you like alcohol based on one sip of one drink!

Come back in a few years, we talk about it again

and how exactly did you "let it slip?" what was it like, how was your day honey. good what about you hone-I DRANK ALCOHOL!!! (awkward silence)...:P

Alcohol is considered a drug because it changes the way your body and mind functions. Not because it's addictive.

Awesome! But that was completely random. Unless the comments are messing up, or my phone.

Lmfao!! This sucks to hear about strict parents like that! My mom lets me have my freedom and I think that was a good choice so I didn't rebel and take a sip of an alcohol (; Hahahhaa. #21.. Btw, In school I learned that alcohol is considered a drug because it can be addicting. So the nickname makes sense to me... (Although it doesn't seem or sound right).

It is addictive. Look at all of the functional (or not so functional) alcoholics.

It's this kind of parenting that pushes kids away, giving them this desire to rebel. It's such a shame /:
