Today, I told my boyfriend to stop tickling me, since I absolutely hate being tickled. He got extremely pissed at me and left the room. It took me a full five minutes to realize that I'd called him by my ex's name. FML

Today, I was on the phone with my boyfriend and I told him that I was going to tickle him, to which he responded me how he’d “crack” me in the head so that I’d never even think about tickling him again. It threw me into a panic attack and people laughed. I’m a survivor of domestic violence. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I got into a heated argument. He raised his hand like he was going to hit me. Having been hit by my ex before, I panicked and instinctively kicked his legs out from under him. He then dumped me because he said he was just gonna scare me, but I used real violence on him. FML

As long as u didnt say it during like sex or a really happy, personal moment- he shouldnt be too offended or wanna dump you over it...especially if you've been with your ex for ages- understand the force of habit! and if he used to tickle you heaps or something... just apologise heaps, tell him your reasons and make sure it doesn't happen again :) I was with an ex for 2 years...then later on I had a close friend who had a bf with the same name as my ex for 3 years- whom she constantly talked about... with my long term bf now I even actually told him to be warned that I could slip up and say this guys name haha, but its been a year and hasnt happened :)
