I don't see this as an FML at all. I just feel very sad for the man that the love of his life is gone.

I under that this is a FML on your part, but at least your dad still loves your mom

Sorry for your loss OP. I too lost my mother but I was very young, 9 and never had a father. Maybe this helps him cope with the lose he has gone through? Hope all goes well for you two. My sympathies.

That's actually really sad. He probably misses her, even if this isn't the healthiest display of that loss.
