#52 I wasnt speaking about soldiers, that was a general comment on unfairities of life. And I am pleased to tell you thats what Historians do they have unfair and bias views on things and write it down in books. Such is life
#1 Spank your daughter for not respecting her elder. #2 Teach your daughter self-restraint. Pop in "Bambi" and continually loop Thumper saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". #3 Your daughter is ignorant. Educate her or she'll grow up to be another idiot who can vote but shouldn't be allowed. #4 The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Be careful how you express your thoughts around children. They are highly impressionable.
I am a little appalled by this. Blatant disrespect on your daughters part. She shouldn't be saying something like that to anyone. And part of me sits and says, well she's only six and doesn't fully understand everything she should understand about this situation. However, this is an opinion she couldn't possibly form on her own. Biggest influences in a childs life are their parents and siblings. So, what exactly are you teaching your daughter.
#60 something along the lines of 'war is wrong, you shouldn't kill people' maybe?
#49 Your ignorance is astounding. You do realize that your perception of how much of a role the US played in WWII is incredibly blown out of proportion, right? The Russians are the ones who eventually defeated Germany, you ought to be thanking them! The US had a big role in the Pacific Theatre but on the European Front, it wasn't the American Good Ol' Boys who saved the whole world. Ethnocentricity at its best. In regards to the OP: it's really more about tact than anything else, and when it's appropriate to say certain things. Best to have given her a bit of a lecture on such things afterward!
#50- if you knew anything you would know that the guy on the ground is there to do his job and get his boys home. you dont insult a man for doing what his congressmen or general or captain told him to do? you probably dont even know who your congress people are. when you get shot at lose a best friend and get told about how you want to kill the person that killed your friend is wrong then come say something. and thank the americans in arlington that it is in american english
I doubt this one. If it did happen, maybe you should be a parent and teach your kids some basic manners and decency.
that's so ****** up to say to a war veteran
