See a doctor. Sometimes tinnitus is a symptom of something else - like high blood pressure or even exposure to very loud sounds. Medically, I think treatment for tinnitus is not always 100% effective, but at least have the condition medically diagnosed so you know if there is an underlying condition that needs treatment… In the meantime, there are noisemaker apps for smart phones that make soothing sounds that make the condition somewhat easier to live with.
On the plus side, you won't have to hear anyone say you're too young to have tinnitus anymore. Either you'll be old enough or you won't hear anything but the bells. Keep a TV or radio on at all times to drown out the ringing.

I am sorry, I am 27 and have it because of aneurological disorder. I find it doesn't bother me as much if I have background noise or if I sleep with a sound machine. I have also found that for some reason drinking coffee sometimes calms it down
