There's no need to worry IF it's permanent. It is. Always keep some background noise going to keep from losing your mind from "hearing" the tinnitus by itself. That might work.
I've had tinnitus since 2009. You get used to it eventually and there are ways to mitigate its impact on your quality of life. For sleeping, I run a fan at night and stopped using headphones to listen to music. Limit alcohol and caffeine as they make it worse. Eat right, exercise, sleep well. Wear earplugs in the club or better yet, don't go anymore. (There should be legal limits on how loud the music should be played.) Talk to your doctor about any advancements in treatment. Good luck.
