Ask for an advance on your paycheck, or negotiate for them to cover all or some of the costs of relocating - passport fees and airfare at least. If you need a job because you are broke, and you found a job that will make you un-broke but you are too broke to start the job - you find a fucking way to make it happen. You’ll start in a hole, but that job is a ladder. Make it fucking happen. Don’t let this opportunity slip by. You can do it. Good luck!
100% this. There are VERY few legitimate job opportunities that will expect you to relocate that drastically and not offer some sort of compensation for it. It costs nothing to ask/negotiate, especially since if you can't afford to without their help, you're not taking the job anyway.
Take out a loan. Don't miss out on a good job for a stupid technicality like that.
This is one of the few reasons I would be glad to lend money to a family member. Now is a good time to ask your dad/mom/whatever.
