Could go either way, really

Today, I received a full scholarship to the university of my dreams in England. Being born into a fairly poor family, I've never received anything for free and I worked on my grades like a dog last semester to achieve this. However, the scholarship is only valid if the UK stays in the EU. FML

Great job OP now start a Gofund me page also there are many organizations that can help don't let this opportunity pass even if you work part time to pay for it, it'll be a high education at a far lower cost then a U.S. school, good luck OP

Brexit has been going on for years. You didn’t apply to one college did you?

They should’ve changed their policy. No one should be basically denied the scholarship because of government politics.

Woulda shoulda coulda whatever you want. There’s a difference between who’s fault something is and who’s problem. Set yourself up to mitigate predictable probabilities of other people screwing you. And if you are relying on government, whatever government and whatever side of it you’re on, you are going to be disappointed. Mitigate it; don’t rely on government.

Except it is their problem if they end up screwing more people because of their shitty scholarship requirements.

You’re screwed! I’m glad the Brits made the historic blunder of Brexit. It means we were not the only great Western democracy to lose our ******* minds in 2016.

And yet, no one wants to leave and they make sure every attempt to find an agreement on the terms is rejected. That's what happens when you want to stop being part of something but ask to keep the benefits from it. Highly unrealistic.

And Trump is only getting away with some of the horrors he wants.

Surely you knew the terms and conditions before you applied? Brexit has been going on for the last three years.

Britain voted to leave the EU over two years ago, before you applied, surely you should’ve realised that this wouldn’t have been upheld

can you change your residency to an EU country?
