Today, I turned 22. Instead of cutting my own cake, I stood by and smiled at a friend's belated birthday party. Her birthday was actually two months ago, but she decided to have her party on my birthday. No one remembered mine but everyone got her beautiful gifts. FML

That sucks... YLIF, but also YDI for not saying anything. You should have mentioned it to the girl whose belated birthday you were celebrating when she announced the date - chances are either she would have changed it, or you could have had a double birthday party.

YDI for letting your friend celebrate her birthday 2 months later on your party, and then standing back and letting her blow out the candles, sounds like you're a pushover.

Um, did your "friend" know that it was your birthday? Cause, if she did? That was exponentially heinous, and she's not a friend, she's a bitch. Make sure the people you choose as friends are not the people you have to keep from stabbing you in the back.

The sad thing is that you really can't say anything at that point, because you don't want to be rude and hated forever. So life pretty much sucks. I'm sorry. At least you get a bunch of happy birthdays from the people who think your life sucks. =/
