Today, after falling head over heels for a guy I've been crushing on for the past few months; I discovered that he's gay, dislikes children and I stand absolutely no chance. This isn't even the first time this has happened. I have the worst gaydar. FML

If you don't know them well enough to know basic info like their orientation, I don't see how you can be 'head over heels'...

Don't beat yourself up about it. You just have a type, and unfortunately, most of the straight men you encounter dont meet that type. Even the girl from Boy Meets World was upset when the guy from Nsync that she was dating came out. It happens, but just keep trying.
