Bad influence

Today, my in-laws were visiting. My mother-in-law asked my 10-year-old son what he wants to be when he grows up. He said "A pimp!" I have no idea where he even heard the word, but the death glares my in-laws gave me made me want to shrivel up and die. FML

I love how the in-laws instantly assumed it was your fault... because some kid at school couldn't have said that word to him, it's obviously your fault... Bitches be trippin' my friend.

Right, because nobody who goes to a private school has ever heard the word pimp.

Who cares what she thinks, he's just a kid, who probably doesn't know the proper meaning of a pimp. It was probably just something he heard of a TV show :p

Yeah, I remember getting in trouble at school for explaining to my classmates what a pimp was; I was one of the only ones who did. He might know what it means, but usually, they don't; it just sounds cool to them. Either way, your in-laws shouldn't be holding you responsible.

Grow a pair and just laugh it off.

Damn, 10 years old and he already has his priorities straight.

He probably heard it on the play ground. It's tough out there
