Baby you can't drive my car

Today, I received a notice of a suspended driver's license on account of my epilepsy. I have to submit my license by the suspension date, or I could be fined. The suspension date was 8 days ago. FML

so take it in and tell them you just received the notification. also ask what you can do to get it unsuspended

Once medication has stabilised the patients seizures they can apply to have it back. Stabilisation means no seizures for a minimum amount of time so 12-24months pending state. Plenty of people who are classed as epileptic drive, just depends on how serious their situation and how well managed.

it'd be pretty hard to unsuspend it if op has epilepsy. I have an epileptic aunt and she can't drive. yet I know other people who have epilepsy and somehow they have a license

in order to have a license while having epilepsy (according to my epileptic friend) you have to go at least three months without a seizure to hold a license. when you have one it gets suspended
