Either train your dog not to bark, or pay attention when it does. You're kind of lucky you don't have a noise complaint to go with your missing rims.

YDI if your dog is barking steadily and that long. After a minute you should of gotten up and checked what he was barking at.

Yesterday, My dog was barking for a minute or so until I walked to the living room to see why. There was a squirrel sitting on the windowsill, leaning against the glass and staring at my dog. My australian cattle dog was about to have a fit, he was a couple inches away. They love to tease my dog.

If you have your dog long enough, you can usually distinguish the types of barks: for example, if mine sees another dog, his barks are more aggressive sounding vs seeing a person walking past the yard. He has a crazy insane bark for squirrels cause they stand right next to the glass were he is so close, yet so far away.

now that is a very sad kind of laziness to not even have the slightest bit of curiousity to know why your dog just won't stop staring out the window and stfu. even more interesting that the robbers seem to have known the owner would have been too lazy to stop whacking off to check out what's up with the dog. usually barking dogs draw attention, um, you know? haha
