Woof
Today, my dog barked for 30 minutes with me yelling for him to shut up. Guess that's how long it takes someone to steal the rims from my truck. Good dog. FML

College Life
Packed lecture halls, a sketchy roommate and frat parties: welcome to college, the real thing.
Today, I yelled at my dog for waking me up growling and barking out the window. He was doing it at the person stealing my car. FML
Today, I was screaming at my neighbor to shut his dog up. After 30 minutes of bellowing, he yelled back that it was my dog that was barking. He was right. FML
Today, I was woken up by my neighbour's dog losing its mind, and I remembered reading a story about someone ignoring a dog and later finding out that their car had been stolen. Paranoid, I went outside to check on mine. Nope. Just the damn dog barking at one thirty in the morning. FML
Today, my dog barked at his own reflection in the mirror for five full minutes. When I tried to calm him down, he started barking at me like I was in on the conspiracy that seemed to be going on in his head. FML
Today, I had finally gotten my dogs to quiet down and my baby to fall asleep. Not thirty seconds later, my neighbor's car alarm went off. They aren't home for the weekend, and the damn alarm has now been blaring for three hours. FML
Today, I got locked out of my car while the engine was idling. The "good news"? My dog inside the car thought this was the funniest thing ever and barked happily every time I tried to open it. FML
Today, the neighbor's dog has been barking for over 5 hours. It is barking directly at my window. FML
Today, my friends decided it would be funny to engage the child locks on the rear doors of my SUV. My SUV has a bolted cage for the dog separating the front from the back. Guess who was locked in their own car for 2 hours? FML
Today, my boyfriend's vicious dog, which he got as a security measure and growls and barks at me whenever I go near it, was caught on our security camera playing like a puppy with a burglar, while the other two burglars cleaned out all our valuables. FML
Today, a dog came up to me while I was sitting on my porch. I used my belt as a leash to go try to find its owner. After an hour of looking in the rain, I gave up and let it go. Now I'm back in my house and it won't stop pawing and barking at my door. It's 3:00 a.m. FML

Ok i kinda sympathis with the OP, my dog sits at the window and barks at ANYTHING outside that moves, and after a few months you just kinda learn to tell her to shutup and she does what she's told. it gets extremely irratating otherwise!! Your not gonna look out the window anytime your dog barks

The dog is in cahoots with the thieves, that's why it was trying to distract you for thirty minutes. YDI, I bet you were cruel to the poor doggy.

#59 You nailed it. Damn dog probably screwed over his owner for a bowl of Kibbles and Bits. Next time this one starts barking, rimjob better hope his/her truck isn't on blocks.

YDI for not getting your lazy ass up to see WHY the dog was barking. dogs don't usually bark for no reason.. sometimes they do.. but not for a half an hour. dumbass.

You're dog barked for 30 minutes straight??? Don't you think you should have looked at what he was barking at? Some dogs bark for no reason sometimes, but not for 30 minutes.

If I had to listen to your yelling and the dog barking for 30 minutes I would want to **** up your truck also.

As a huge advocate for proper dog training, yelling does not solve anything. All it does is influence more bad behavior. After a few barks you should be by his side to correct him and also check WTF he's barking at because it could be someone doing bad. ie: stealing your rims.
