Talk to people: everyone does it. And everyone has a tactic to remind it. Either "with wich hand do i write?" or "driver and passenger" or something else. It's normal.

So, @ everyone: How's your math skills? Specifically: Do you find yourself having trouble reading letters like '696969696' or switching - and divisor signs? Because trouble with left and right is often a sign of dyscalculia. Why yes, I do have that, how did you know...the trick I use for right and left is to completely ignore any mention of the words except for that the left turn is in the center of the road, and right is to the side. That is about the only time you need it, too.
