Today, I've reached the age where I get really dizzy and my vision blurs if I stand up too fast. I'm 19 years-old. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I continue to suffer from chronic vertigo, which affects my daily life, including but not limited to dizziness, not being able to drive some days, nausea and vomiting, not able to hold my children without falling, and this morning I fell to the floor temporarily blind because of it. Eighteen years of this. FML
Today, I'm 20 and I'm going bald. FML
Today, I decided to start exercising. I almost passed out five minutes into the warm up, and couldn't even stand in the shower afterwards. I'm only 21. FML
Today, I stood up wrong from the toilet, leading to me pulling a muscle in both of my thighs, just above the knees. This made me feel old, and even older when I immediately remembered this website from when I was still young. I'm 29 now. FML
Today, I used to look so young for my age that in high school, I was regularly mistaken for a freshman. I never succeeded in getting dates because of it. Today, I'm 25 years-old and regularly get confused for being in my thirties. I guess all the stress from work, loneliness, and rejection really caught up. FML
Today, I realized that over the past few months, I seem to be getting more and more prone to bumping into things, and tripping over nothing. I'm also apparently more prone to getting injured when this happens. I've always been uncoordinated, but this is getting out of hand. I'm falling apart. FML
Today, I stood up too quickly and got dizzy, so I sat on the edge of the bed to regain my balance. I started dozing off to sleep again, got confused, and peed down the side of my bed thinking I was on the toilet. FML
Today, at the age of 14, my neck, back, and feet take turns setting themselves on fire if I stand up for too long. FML
Today, I was diagnosed with gout. I’m 19. FML
Today, lots of guys my age are confident and in the best shape of their life. I've been working out since high-school. However, since I turned 20, my body has become increasingly injury prone on my joints and tendons from wear and tear. I feel like I'm slowly breaking down and I'm only 24. FML

I urge you to consult a cardiologist and a neurologist Pronto. That is not a good sign if this happens every time.

That is not an age related thing, I would see a doctor asap

This sounds like orthostatic hypotension. Like other comments said definitely consult a doctor about this

Then, don't stand up fast. Just saved you a trip to the doctor. You're welcome.

There are many possible causes of that - from low blood pressure to who knows what else. Not all of them are serious, but falling and hurting yourself or others could be. Make an appointment, see a doctor, and in the meantime get up more slowly.

Uh, that's not a thing that happens to 19 year olds. I'm way older than that and don't get dizzy standing up or getting blurred vision. You need to see a dcotor.

nah that's just you standing to fast and having low blood/oxygen in your brain. your blood gets pushed down with gravity when you stand up too fast. just like how a water filled balloon behaves when you throw it up.
