Maybe she's not. Maybe she has horrible stretchmarks, or doesn't shave her girly bits, or has a huge birthmark shaped like a penis on her thigh. Or maybe her nipples are bigger than her breasts. Maybe she's skinny but just has a weird-looking body.

Thank you #47 and #61. Just because someone is fat does not necessarily mean they are ugly, unless to you fat is ugly. How old are all the guys posting to this FML? It's just that few people here realize that the whole 'beauty is on the inside' and 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' lessons were not garbage. It makes life easier and better to love someone for who they are first, if not, I'm afraid you only love who they appear to be. Everyone is different than who we judge then to be in some way, but if your first thought when looking for a girl is 'she's hot' or 'I'd like to sleep with her' then there is a lot of room for growth. When I look for men I don't go in looking for looks first. I think 'he is kind and really funny' then I think 'he has a nice smile and pretty eyes'. Maybe we should learn to use these lessons more. BTW being fat or ugly does not make someone unloveable they just need to find someone who loves then as they are. Often times people end up falling for someone they never thought they would. Sometimes this is because of personality, more and more looks. Life is short, never worry about what your friends will say when they see your date, only think of how happy that person makes you. Attraction is hard to explain, and the fact we all seek different thing, makes it hard for others to understand. Also most fat people are actually kind, funny, and interesting most of the time. We live different lives then you do, we learn more. There are of course excepions to this, as there are with anything else. Try having a conversation with a fat person. If you are shallow enough to never talk to a fat person, you're missing out. If he was her boyfriend and was talking dirty I inagine they are somewhat serious. Most men, and typically women, do not feel comfortable with this unless there is a stronger connection. His answer could have been a joke, but it doesn't sound like it. OP ask him why he said it, because if it was a joke it was in poor taste. If it was not a joke then I doesn't sound like he loves you, ask about it. When you have the answers figure out if you want the relationship you will have with him. If not, find a new boyfriend. And I say this as I would to anyone regardless of age, please do not stay with someone just because they are hot. It doesn't work. I've been the shoulder to cry on a lot. It just hurts later, so please remember this. I hope it was a misunderstanding, but I dont think so. FYL, and I hope it gets much better. I wish you luck and love, even if you have to keep looking.
