Today, whilst I was in a corner deli getting snacks, my girlfriend thought it would be funny to drive the car 50m down the street so that I would be confused when I come out... She was picked up by a cop driving without her license and now my car is impounded for 28 days. FML

I call bullshit. I live in Australia (where the OP is from) and this does NOT happen. They don't impound your car for driving without a licence, and certainly not for 28 days, that's for sure.

actually your wrong, im from Western Australia, and thats what happens here. Maybe not in your state. but over here, on the 3rd offence they keep your car. thats for sure.

i live in WA too, and YES they take your car and impound it if an unlicensed driver is driving. 50 m is right too because WE'RE on the internet, not in america. i say FYL cos I'm in my mid 20s, have never gotten my license and have been driving on a daily basis for ages :D you're gf must look about 14 or else drives like a retard.
