Today, the air bag system in my car somehow malfunctioned, and the air bag inflated while I was driving, causing me to lose control and crash into a street light. I ended up with a badly bruised face because the air bag had already deflated by then. FML

I've owned 2 Fords and that's never happened to me. My last one lasted many years and the one I currently have has been nothing but the best.

Air bags are designed to not deploy unless the sensor is triggered. Malfunctions on the system will turn air bags off. You must ran ober something or your bottom sensor was hanging and touched the ground. Seem that before. Usually happens when you ran over parking lot bricks

i work for gm, if thats a buick,checy,gmc, or cadillac if a defect itll be free repairs

I've been in a few accidents. And i know for a fact that if you're wearing your seatbelt, you won't hit the stearing wheel even if an airbag deflated before you hit a pole. So you probably weren't wearing your seatbelt, unless that failed too, which i find VERY hard to believe. So i have to say ydi
