Today, my wannabe psychologist of a brother accused me of lying about all the violence and emotional abuse my ex inflicted on me, all because I went into "too much detail" when describing it, which he says is something only liars do. Thanks for the support. FML

Your brother probably doesn't want to believe it even happened. It's easier to call someone a liar than to accept the painful truth.

Its okay ive beeb there and done that!! Ive never heard someone say you gave to much details thats bullshit you remeber everything that ever happens im studying now to become a phycologist and he can kiss that idea away its not true!!!

depends on who you're "opening" up to. if it's somone you trust of course you're going to go into detail. if it's someone you trust wit a psychological education background, well clearly your brother needs to further his education. he will make a sorry excuse for a psychologist.
