Today, my roommate and I noticed a foul smell in our apartment. After looking around for a little while, I found that her cat had pooped on a pair of my jeans, and apparently tried to cover it up by dragging a shirt over the mess. FML

Cats actually cover their shit after taking a dump you know. And yes, they can move kittens, mouses and rabbits with their teeth, so I'm sure they'll be able to do it with a shirt too.

Yeah, whenever my cat ***** outside of the litterbox, he always finds something to cover it with. Usually a piece of paper or paper towel.

If the punishment for having clothes on the floor was getting them covered in cat crap, I don't think I'd have any clothes yet. Unfortunately, from experience I know that cats don't care where you put something. If they want to pee or poop on it, they will find a way.

Well if you left them lying on the floor, then you are partially to blame. Maybe you should put them away in a dresser or a closet. If not, I'm sorry about it. Maybe you can try to get your roomie to buy you a new pair?
