Today, my parents got a call from my English teacher. She told them that I have 14 days of detention because I've been cutting class. I've been there every day, but apparently she never noticed me. FML

If she can't prove you weren't there then you can't get detention, go to the office, tell them you feel victimized and that they should review footage of you entering the classroom

Similar story - we had a home ec type course in my middle school and I was being failed for not showing up even though I sat in the front and talked to the teacher every day. I even had graded papers to prove I'd been there. Turns out she just had no clue who I was.

OMG serious though we had a Home Ec class when I was in middle school and the teacher legitimately had no idea who I was so despite doing all my homework and acing all of my tests I was failing miserably. My mom was contacted and after determining that I wasn't in a club or anything at the time, we discovered that she just didn't know that me and my name were the same person.
