Today, my parents got a call from my English teacher. She told them that I have 14 days of detention because I've been cutting class. I've been there every day, but apparently she never noticed me. FML

Not as bad as my teacher who didn't even know what 'hesitate' meant. I still don't know how he managed to get a job at my school.

Maybe you and your parents can talk to the principal,it doesn't seem fair that you have to suffer because your teacher is negligent

Dear OP, How many days were you absent that she didn't notice? Two weeks of detention for how many absences? Both you and your teacher are at fault logistically speaking, but technically that... you might have a superpower, actually. ...does this happen frequently for you?

Not necessarily--copy machines and teacher websites (some upload their assignments in case you lose them) make it more difficult to try to prove you were there... I can get my whole curriculum online for my English class :/
