Today, I got home late to find my dad outside mowing the lawn in the dark. I told him the neighbors were going to think he lost his marbles for mowing it at that time. He then informed me he wasn't mowing it, he was vacuuming it. FML

One man and his lawn

Today, my husband, who rarely helps with big projects around the house, offered to help me with our mess of a backyard. An hour and a half into the project, and an hour and a half after he disappeared from the backyard, I found him mowing and edging the front. Our front yard was immaculate and didn't need mowed. FML

Today, my neighbor waved at me while he mowing his lawn. Wanting to be friendly, I waved back. In doing so I tripped on the curb, fell onto my own trash can, and rolled halfway into the street. He didn’t stop mowing. FML

I assume you live in an area with no noise ordinance laws. I feel for you... I live in one too. I've had to soundproof my bedroom walls so that the neighbors on both sides will stop keeping me awake at night with their parties.

My boyfriends neighbors used to do that alllll of the time!! they would mow and weedwack at very inconvenient hours of the night/morning. Not after a noise complaint though :)
