Today, my friend decided to come clean to his parents about his pot usage. He told them that he did it with me on many occasions. His parents decided it would be the right thing to call my parents. Thanks a lot asshole. FML

Today, I finally decided to introduce my boyfriend to my parents. Surprisingly, he and my father already knew each other, so I asked him how they met. Now I know where my boyfriend gets all his weed. FML
Today, I came home to my parents holding my marijuana. They told me that I had the stupidest hiding place ever, and that I was, "not only a pothead, but a dumbfuck pothead." FML
Today, my mom told me she was getting tired of the smell of marijuana in the house. So I confessed and told her I'll never bring it home again. She was talking about my neighbors. FML
Today, my mom talked to me and my brother about how great it was that our cousin was getting away from drugs and becoming sober, as he would have so many more opportunities opened up for him now. She explained all this while sitting on our patio, smoking a blunt. FML
Today, my mom called me screaming and cussing because she found pot in my room. I come home and my dad says, "I hid some pot in your room and I'm not letting you go to that concert if you rat me out." My dad is apparently a blackmailing 52-year-old stoner. FML
Today, after my close friend had his baby, he told me that he was no longer going to be selling weed at his house. I was happy for him, because it's unsafe. Until I found out he was still selling at my house with the help of my roommates, without telling me. FML
Today, my dog found my marijuana pipe and the bag it was in and brought it to my parents. FML
Today, my Mom found out that I've been intimate with one of my best friends in the past. We used protection, it never went anywhere, and we ended it amicably, but she still gave me a huge lecture. Later, she high-fived and congratulated him. FML
Today, I came home after a party to my parents, who confronted me. They said that my phone had made a pocket call to them and they heard a good half hour of people talking about drugs and alcohol. I confessed at that point. I checked my phone after. I hadn't called them in three days. FML
Today, my dad found out I recently tried weed. He called me a useless waste of air and grounded me for the rest of the year. Then he went outside and smoked his third cigarette of the morning. FML

I really love how people on here say they smoke weed and have a 4.0 or above. In today's world, you REALLY think it's that difficult to have a 4.0? Especially if that's your weighted GPA, it's really not that hard to achieve. I take all honors and AP classes and there are quite a few people who I have several classes with who cannot spell and botch basic grammar (such as "you're" and "your" or "there," "they're" and "their"). So YOU'RE sadly mistaken if you think having a 4.0 means you're a genius. For the record, I've never studied for a test in my life and my weighted GPA is a 5.3 (then again, I have a photographic memory). Teachers let students slide by and get grades they don't deserve. And you know what? It's not fair to the people who do deserve them and are actually learning something. Not to say that anyone who smokes pot isn't working hard and doesn't deserve their grades, I'm simply saying that there are people who achieve high marks without really earning them, so your grades don't necessarily demonstrate the effort you put in or your intelligence. Now that I've covered that, I have friends, good friends, that smoke pot. Quite a few of them take it upon themselves to make everyone around them who doesn't use feel like ignorant assholes. And most of the people they do this to don't drink or smoke cigarettes either. Regardless of your views on the legality and effects of marijuana, no one should ever be made to feel like a lesser person because they choose not to use a substance. Regardless of whether that substance be marijuana, alcohol, or tobacco.

YOU need to get off your high horse. I don't know about your school, but most schools the highest GPA you can get is a 4.3 and thats all A+'s in everything, so I'm not entirely sure where your 5.3 is coming from. Just because your school lets students slide by doesnt mean all schools do. At the one i just graduated from if you didnt do the work you lost 10% credit for each day it was late, and even if you waited until it was worth no points you still had to hand it in or you'd get an incomplete. Also, spelling is no show of intelligence. I know people that can spell who are complete idiots, and I know some very smart people who can't spell at all.

wow you're dumb. nobody in the history of the world has ever died from pot usage. know why? its impossible. pot is actually good for you in certain conditions its less addicting than alcohol and cigarettes and not as bad for you.

368 get YOUR facts straight. Marijuana does not cause lung cancer, in fact it helps decrease the size of tumors in patients with lung cancer. To everyone: marijuana is a plant. Anything else your parents or your government told you, just forget about it. It's a plant, always has been always will. It was an accepted medicine even in America, before aspirin was invented marijuana was the main pain reliever we knew about. Fast forward to now and we have kids whose parents have told them marijuana is a drug, marijuana is bad for you. It's a plant, one with medical properties, and every ignorant and narrowminded individual who posted on this FML can suck a fat dick.
