Today, my ex-boyfriend came over to visit. Being nice, I let him walk down the stairs first, following after him. I still managed to reach the bottom before he did; after taking one step, I lost my footing and fell all the way down, scraping the skin off my arms and legs, and bruising my butt. FML

Today, I flew to see my long distance boyfriend who I haven't seen in 6 months. Upon seeing me, he ran up to me, picked me up and swung me around like they do in the movies. In doing so, my foot hit a 4 year old child who was running past and knocked him out. FML

Unrequited love is a horrible thing. I've been there. Realize you can't be happy with anyone else until you are happy with yourself. Then work on being happy with yourself. Once you are happy with yourself, you'll realize you deserve someone who cares for you as much as you do for them. And your ex looking at you will just be another face in the crowd.
