Today, my coworkers and I were comparing the backgrounds we have on our phones. They pretty much sum up our love lives; everyone else's background is a photo of their boyfriend or girlfriend. Mine's a photo of a lifeless desert. FML

I heard of a "dry spell" before, but this is ridiculous. :D

Fix this by changing your background to a photo of James McAvoy. That's what I do.

Mines a 49 Chevy car I used to have. My lock skewed is the truck in my profile pic

I never had my background as someone else. At the moment it's a kitten looking in a mirror it's standing on. My lock screen is 3 glowsticks. I know some people who have their background as themselves?!

The people who do have set pictures of themselves as their home/lock screen are either insecure, or selfish. Unless they had nothing else to put..

Mine is a small pikachu with a giant lollipop in its mouth. Wonder what that says about me lol. #17 I can understand the "selfie" as a lock screen, it makes finding/verifying the owner easier at work at when phones get lost.

married to a tumbleweed huh op must be rough sex

Don't worry too much OP, I never really got the 'significant other phone background' thing. I love my boyfriend to bits but I don't really think any people pics make good backgrounds, there's too much going on in them. I prefer landscapes or something....sometimes an animal will make it on to my lock screen but that's about it At the moment I have a sunset and some cool graffiti that IS busy but so much that it ends up more like a pattern and isn't too intrusive.

My boyfriend and I hate taking pictures of ourselves, so, at Christmas, I bought gingerbread cookies that came with edible ink and drew our likenesses on them; later, I took a picture of them on a plate with a solid background. That's been my phone background for months.
