Today, my boyfriend of five years proposed to me in front of my entire family. He later confessed that it was part of a dare with his friends because, "There was no way you'd say yes." Guess who has to explain this to all my relatives? FML

to everyone saying that op shouldn't have said yes to someone like that, how was she supposed to know that he was going to pull off such a jackass move? as long as they've been dating for and considering the fact that he did it in front of her family, i would've believed that he was being serious too.
