Today, my boyfriend of 3 years left me for a girl he's barely known for 3 weeks. FML
Today, my long-distance boyfriend of 2 years left me for another girl he’s known for 3 months, just because she’s closer. Never mind that I was the one who remained faithful to him for 2 long years, got him through the deaths of his parents, gave him money when he fell on hard times, among other things. FML
Today, I spent most of my morning comforting the guy I love because his fiancée dumped him for some other guy. He continuously told me I had no clue that kind of pain he was in. He dumped me three years ago for the girl that just left him. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 7 years left me for the woman I had previously expressed concerns about. I wouldn't feel so bad if he hadn't dumped me and then got with her not even two hours later. FML
Today, my boyfriend left me for his sister. No, not my sister. His sister. FML
Today, the guy I've been seeing for a year and a half ended it. Why? He found another girl. "She's just like you." FML

Today, my boyfriend of the last 2 years, who is suicidal and heavily depressed, left me because he thinks I "deserve better". Not to mention I was his best friend, therapist, mother and girlfriend all in one. He left me with rent due in a week and all other expenses because he couldn’t take care of me in return. FML

The same thing kind of happened to me. The girl my boyfriend cheated on me with had to train me at my new job. When I found out, and confronted her, she was totally disgusted with him and embarassed of herself even though she didn't really do anything wrong. She and I ended up going shopping together pretty often. Moral of the story is: The "other woman" often is pretty much blameless and can easily be a great person, don't villainize her :)

She didn't care enough to comfort you...she was just giving lip service to bs you all the while thinking how great it was that she now has your ex..when he leaves her for yet another gal...don't comfort her, just tell her she got what she deserved for being part of the reason he left you & now she knows how it feels...then just walk away

It's not her fault he dumped you, and it's pretty decent of her to comfort you over it, honestly. Plus if she's a decent enough person to do that, odds are she'll realize he's a douchebag and dump his ass. He doesn't deserve either of you.
