Today, my long-distance boyfriend of 2 years left me for another girl he’s known for 3 months, just because she’s closer. Never mind that I was the one who remained faithful to him for 2 long years, got him through the deaths of his parents, gave him money when he fell on hard times, among other things. FML
Today, I spent most of my morning comforting the guy I love because his fiancée dumped him for some other guy. He continuously told me I had no clue that kind of pain he was in. He dumped me three years ago for the girl that just left him. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 7 years left me for the woman I had previously expressed concerns about. I wouldn't feel so bad if he hadn't dumped me and then got with her not even two hours later. FML
Today, my boyfriend left me for his sister. No, not my sister. His sister. FML
Today, the guy I've been seeing for a year and a half ended it. Why? He found another girl. "She's just like you." FML
Today, I was dumped. My boyfriend was too afraid to break up with me, so he sent the girl he cheated on me with. FML

Today, my boyfriend of the last 2 years, who is suicidal and heavily depressed, left me because he thinks I "deserve better". Not to mention I was his best friend, therapist, mother and girlfriend all in one. He left me with rent due in a week and all other expenses because he couldn’t take care of me in return. FML

The same thing kind of happened to me. The girl my boyfriend cheated on me with had to train me at my new job. When I found out, and confronted her, she was totally disgusted with him and embarassed of herself even though she didn't really do anything wrong. She and I ended up going shopping together pretty often. Moral of the story is: The "other woman" often is pretty much blameless and can easily be a great person, don't villainize her :)

truthfully thats an awkward situation.. she probably genuinely feels bad, why would she say all that to stab you in the back that a lot of work... im in a situation kinda like that but I was the chick he all of a suddened liked then we dated snd he dumped me for his ex and is trying to come back again... this guy will more than likely try to come back.... think positive you dont need that jerkoff or the waste of anymore time

Relationships come and go, and at least you now know that your now ex-boyfriend was not "the one". And as to this friend of yours, I would not accept her condolences. It seems that she has yet a lot to learn about life.
