Today, it's been a week since my girl told me she's pregnant and I fled town in a panic. I realized how badly I fucked up and called her, begging to come back. When I showed up at her house, her brothers kicked my ass and threw me in the street, promising to wring me dry for child support. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years completely lost it because last night I told him I wanted to move to a less remote area so I can be independent. He shouted that I bring no money in, he has to do everything, and that I that I snore so loud he can hear me from downstairs where he sleeps. I'm pregnant. We are in our 40s. FML
Today, I announced to my boyfriend of 5 years that I was pregnant. He gave me an ultimatum. Either I "get rid of it" because he’s "not ready to be a dad" or he’ll "put me out on the streets." I’m unemployed and have nowhere to go if I keep it. FML
Today, after my boyfriend ghosted me when he learned I was pregnant, I stormed to his house to tell his wife about us to get back at him. Turns out he gave me a fake address, because the cops were called on me after I screamed at some random woman who lived there. FML
Today, I am pregnant, and my boyfriend dumped me, saying that he didn't want to be stuck in anything too serious. FML
Today, my husband kicked me out because I told him I'm having an abortion. He just doesn't understand that with the way our country is right now, and how bad the economy is, it's just not a good idea to have kids at the present time. FML
Today, my boyfriend gave me an ultimatum: either get an abortion, or he’ll move out to go work for his brother, and good luck chasing him up for child support because his brother lives abroad. FML
Today, my nineteen year-old boyfriend dumped me and kicked me out of his place where I was staying. All because my two year-old peed on his couch. FML
Today, I overheard my mom’s boyfriend viciously berating and verbally abusing her. I got in his face and started yelling that he can’t talk to her that way. He stormed out and we haven’t heard from him since. Now my mom is pissed and wants to kick me out for “ruining” her relationship. Sorry I guess. FML
Today, my boyfriend has never gotten along with my dad, but this afternoon during what I thought was a completely normal conversation, he just stood up, yelled he couldn’t take my dad anymore, punched him in the nose, dumped me, and drove away. FML

It honestly sounds like he's trying to find a reason to get rid of you... You deserve better than that :( but a restraining order can't stop a child support check. I'd say call your parents and get out of there before he does something even worse :(

Perhaps she didn't call him an asshole because she's a hormonal bitch. Perhaps she called him an asshole because he was an asshole. Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. I don't know if there's more to this story or not, but in the grand scheme of serious relationships, whilst you shouldn't be calling your beloved an asshole on a regular basis, it seems a bit weak to end a relationship over it, at least as an isolated incident. Keeping that in mind, if that's all there is to it, throwing a pregnant girl (or indeed, anyone) out into the street and threatening them with a restraining order just because they called you a name is nuts. So I'd say the description is most likely apt, and OP is well rid of him.

If she called him an asshole for legit reasons why would she be upset about having to leave? If I thought the father of my future child was really an asshole I'd be leaving on my own terms and likely filing my own restraining order. I wouldn't wait for him to throw me out. That's silly.
