Today, my boyfriend came to visit from another state. My mom didn't want me to go to his hotel, but I did. When she asked about it, I lied to her and said I didn't go. She the showed me a picture of my car outside his hotel. FML

Today, I took my boyfriend to meet my parents over dinner. During the meal, he excused himself to the bathroom, and when he didn't come back after a few minutes, I went to check up on him. I ended up finding him in the living room, pocketing a pack of ambien from my mom's bag. FML

Today, my mom let me stay home from school, because I was sick. We both agreed not to tell my dad, since he's adamant that I never miss even one day of school. A few hours after my mom left for work, he came back home, with another woman. FML

Today, I fell asleep at my boyfriend’s house and missed my curfew. It’s almost 4 a.m. Scrambling, I arrived home to find the locks changed. On the door knob was a note: “Go live with your boyfriend, you slut. See if he cooks and cleans up after you. I’ll help you move out your stuff in the morning. - Mom” FML

its not a matter of how small their house is... the mother would probably hear the front door closing and want to know who was leaving/entering. i know my mother is obsessive whenever she hears the door. and considering the mother would have seen her car in the driveway either the OP walked or was picked up from her boyfriend thus providing no way home. besides the fact that even if she did make it out of the house there's still such a thing as windows, mom could be looking outside and see her. or maybe mom just sat in the living room all afternoon and the boyfriends room is right off of the living room.
