Um apparently not... he knows what you looked like before, during, and after.. you probably just notice more that you're looking better, but you probably aren't completely back to normal. No big deal, he's probably just worried about you

Most of the big scary swelling is gone after a week but your jaw can (and usually does) stay swollen for several weeks. You look better but...you're not there yet, that's all.

I say re-evaluate your relationship. When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, my boyfriend talked about how adorable I looked when swollen. That's what he should be doing. ;]

Wow, I'm not entirely sure what to say, except for that I don't think you should dump him over something like that. I agree that your face probably isn't back to 100% normal, and if you've been dating your boyfriend for a while, and he pays attention to these kinds of things, he could probably tell if it was totally back to normal or not. On a side note; it might not have been the best thing for him to say, but I doubt he meant anything mean by it. By the sounds of it, he was just innocently wondering. My boyfriend had his wisdom teeth pulled last year and it took a while for ALL of the swelling to go away. He only had 3 of them removed, so the one side was back to normal within a week, but the side where both wisdom teeth were removed stayed (slightly) swollen for about 2 1/2 weeks after he'd gotten them removed.

Dude I feel your PAIN. D: I have a tooth infection and my jaw was frickin' swollen to all shit. I just got it taken out today and my boyfriend my mother were totally poking fun at me all day. Until I almost through up from the pain meds. :C

Same thing happened with my ex, i still think her cheeks look fatter then before she got em pulled...
