Today, my boss came into the office asked how I was doing and seemed totally normal and happy, then said, "I have to let you go. I heard some bad things about you." He wouldn't tell me what he heard, or from whom. FML

Today, I found out half of the staff at work have been spreading rumours I'm sleeping with my boss. The other half are spreading rumours I'm sleeping with my subordinate. In reality, every night I go home to an apartment so empty that I don't even have condiments, to sleep alone. FML

Nice boss, since it's most likely way past the event happening- Set it straight but don't make your boss look bad. Bring up the fact that you appreciate his caring and it's great to see a boss that looks out for their workers well being!
