Today, I went to hand in a job application, and the supervisor wanted to ask me a few questions. I was nervous so I kept touching the fabric on a nearby display table. Only after I left did my friend tell me it was a pantie display, and that I was fondling underwear. FML

I read the first line as, "Today, I went to get a hand-job application..."

I read that as hand job application.

That's most likely what happened... why do you think the supervisor was so quick to act for an interview?

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one. Haha.

Same here.. Look what reading FMLs led to xD

The dirty things people will do for a job......

So? Despite it being a bit weird it won't affect you getting the job

uhhh if an interviewer thinks ur weird, ya it could.

I read it as hand job application... sorry, but I was sneezing and only saw "hand", "job" and "application". You see where this is going. Anyways, I'm sure you knew they were underwear... we all know we would do it too, even subconsciously at the least.

I'm gonna say that its safe to assume that they did not get the job.

ah haha you gotta try to calm down next time

moral: look before you fondle, children. also on reflection another important life lesson is the importance of punctuation, highlighted by the placement of the comma in the above sentence.

Relax. You can still understand what she's saying, at least their are no spelling mistakes.

11 meant the comma in her own sentence. as in, a comma makes a big difference between "look before you fondle children" where it is implied that children are being fondled... and "look before you fondle, children" where children are being addressed, and advised to look before they fondle. but I guess on FML every comment has to be an insult to someone else

I understood your joke/ comma lesson so take heart, not everyone on here misses the point entirely.

ahh sweet, someone understands. and if it makes you feel better about the lack of understanding abundant on fml, i got the 30 rock reference in your name 56 :)
