Today, I was mistaken for a male prostitute because I was walking home while wearing my speedo after a swim in the public pool. I was arrested and had to stay in a room full of convicts for 4 hours. Still in a speedo. FML

speedos look good on no one. ydi for even wearing a speedo. ydi for possibly scarring little kid's eyes forever by what they had to witness. and finally, ydi for thinking that you could get away with wearing a speedo in public and for thinking that you did NOT look like a prostitute.

Okay, but here's the thing. Prostitution in and of itself is NOT illegal. SOLLICITING for the intent of prostitution is. This is why undercover cops pretending to be hookers can't arrest until it is specifically mentioned that the guy will be paying her for sexual favours. Were you caught engaging in this interaction? Unless you were, then they had no right to detain you. Either you had an encounter with stupid cops, or this is fake.
