Today, I was showing some new karate moves in the park to my friends. I mimed a punch behind a girl walking past to show my technique and control, but she must have seen me. She turned around and kicked me in the stomach. To add insult to injury, her technique was better than mine. FML

Today, while playing badminton at school, I got an opponent who is mentally handicapped. Since I'm terrible at the game, I guess the teacher assumed it would be a good match. I won the match, my first victory ever. My teacher accused me of cheating to humiliate him. FML

Today, I was playing tennis with my friend. He hit a ball up high, and I slammed it down, thinking there was no way he would get it. Feeling pretty good about it, I turned around to celebrate. As I turned around, I got smacked in my face. He got it. FML

I think it's more of an FYL because you're good enough at badminton to laugh at people. Not simply because she *understandably* doesn't like being laughed at by random jerks.

Sorry, I don't think I expressed that correctly. I've been in the US for quite some time but I still mess up my English. I was poking fun at the OP because to be good enough at Badminton seems like you would have to practice a lot. In Israel badminton is pretty dorky. Maybe it's considered cool in the US?
