Today, I was called up about a job I'd recently applied for. I was overly excited to tell them I'd be there on Monday. Then I remembered I canceled my car insurance due to financial difficulties. I have no way of getting there. FML

Today, I was told a job offer that would've changed my life had been taken back, due to one part in the onboarding process. I’ve already sold my car, ended the lease to my apartment, and purchased a non refundable plane ticket. With little to no money and the Christmas break coming soon, I feel like I’m going to die with no backup plan. FML

So you still have a car, right? Just don't get hit or pulled over.

There's always a way. Plus, you have DAYS to organise it. Stop whining, get into action-mode.

#2, considering that my work commute is about a 3 hour drive I think it's safe to say not everyone lives within walking distance of their job.

I would still drive. you will never get insurance back if u don't go to work.

You say the like your car won't start without ins. on it... If you don't get to work you will never have ins. on your car again.

There are other ways to cut expenses. Kind of stupid to cut off your vehicle that you would need to get to a job you're looking for. Don't listen to the morons that say drive anyway. In the end, it'll only cost you more.

um you can still drive without car insurance lol just very carefully

walk? bike? taxi? bus? subway? ask a friend/family member? this isn't an fml. you're just lazy.
