Today, I was called into my son's school because he had got into a fist-fight with another pupil and I had to take him home. He clammed up about the reason behind the fight, until I finally managed to coax it out of him: the other kid is in "Hufflepuff" and he's in "Ravenclaw." FML

I don't think the kid is really in Hufflepuff, that house doesn't seem like the type to fight. I think he's hiding his Slytherin ways.

The kids don't pick what house they're in, that's the Sorting Hats job.

Us Ravenclaws don't tend to pick physical fights though. The other student was a Hufflepuff though so I guess exceptions can be made.

I was hoping to to find out what in the world a Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw is. Man I feel so far behind the times.

for the neg reppers... I wasn't trying to be funny. I'm legit curious as I haven't heard about this stuff before.

It's from a series called Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. It's really famous and really good. Read it.

Harry Potter doesn't interest me in the least but its nice to finally have an answer as to what this is all about.

10 points from both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff! And if it ever happens again, make your son clean the kitchen without using magic.

I thought they weren't allowed to use magic outside the school, so even if they weren't given a punishment, they would still need to do things without using magic but what do I know I'm just a muggle :(

Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw for me (I'm loyal and smart)

Ah but you forget Hufflepuffs are modest, only Ravenclaw for you

No wrong. Considering hufflepufff is a bad idea. Hufflepuffs are particularly good finders! Know what that means? They're useless

Sorry, I thought hufflepuffs were loyal to their friends (note to self: re-read first book)

Why would he fight with a ravenclaw ? They are supposed to get along.

the Hufflepuff must've been one of them filthy mudbloods

**** both of those, Slytherin for life. But seriously, glad to see a teen appreciating Harry Potter, and not Twilight.
