Today, I realized that a classmate and I have the same glasses. To prove it, I tried bending his glasses, since mine are flexible and can bend. I snapped his glasses in half. FML

If you have the same prescription you should give him yours.

Maybe you could've looked at the branding and serial number, instead of testing their bendiness? Hindsight is a bitch.

A substitute teacher did this to me in fourth grade. You're a terrible person, OP.

thats a lot harsh. OP did not intend to break the glasses, it was an accident which resulted from their stupid actions

#36, I doubt he snatched the glasses and said "Look these bend!" More than likely OP has some relation to the other person or he wouldn't feel comfortable discussing/taking their glasses. He probably had permission to try to bend them similar to his glasses

I just want to point out it wasn't my even my regular teacher, just a substitute. A substitute. I'm still salty.

@33, 41... The OP should have also realized, well before they snapped, that they weren't bending, and anymore force would likely break them. Common sense is a wonderful thing.

Why would you do that.. have fun paying for his new glasses OP

Showing a single similarity would've proven nothing. Showing a single difference, on the other hand, demonstrated that your glasses were not the same.

Why did you feel the need to prove it. Next time don't touch other people's things

I'd tell you to let me try bending yours and we'll see how flexible they really are.

Guess you don't have the same glasses after all...

How come you had to bend it to prove it? Couldn't you have just shown the brand or something?
