Today, I left on a 2 month trip. I was in a hurry to pack so I wouldn't miss my plane. There were 2 piles of clothes on my bed. One pile was clothes that didn't fit to take to a thrift store, one was to take with me. Guess which one I brought? FML

Today, I put all my clothes into two piles. One pile had clothes I usually wear, the other clothes I wanted to donate. When I was done, I put the piles into two jumbo trash bags. I came back a bit later and they both were gone. My mom donated both bags. I have no clothes. FML

Today, I was helping my friend pack her carry on for her vacation. I drove her to the airport, and after her plane took off, I noticed I put my cell phone in her purse. Her vacation is 2 months long. FML

Today, I packed all my clothes in a black garbage bag, so I could easily move them to my new house. When I came back outside to load it into my car, the bag was missing, and all I could see was a garbage truck driving away with the week's trash. FML

Today, I was sitting in the airport, watching the baggage handlers load the plane I was about to get on. They were being really rough with it, one bag came open and all the clothes spilled out onto the tarmac. The clothes looked familiar. They were mine. FML

Today, I got my stuff together before leaving to take the bus: cigarettes, newspaper, mobile phone and the trash. I took me at least 5 minutes in the bus to realize that I was travelling with the trash on my knees. FML

Not sure how u could do that. I always make a list and double check that I have everything when I pack. Obviously not everyone makes a list but you'd think you would at least look at what u put in your suitcase...

YDI, you would obviously know which one to take, if you knew what clothes you didn't need durrhh? anyways these FMLS are so similar. i saw the saying "guess which one i pick/choose/took/whatever" like 10 thousand times and there always repeats, sorry to be rude, but like the site is going downhill with all these repeats.

You don't have to agree with it but there's no reason to be that rude. well its cinda hard 2 pack in advance 4 a 2 month trip isnt it? @ least more than a couple days cuz you'd have no clothes wat so ever. and it sounds like she already had her clothes ready but just hadnt gotten in the bag.....itd b quite hard 2 pack unless it was really close 2 the time u needed 2 leave

Who in their right mind waits till the very last possible minute to pack for a 2 month trip? Right before you have to leave to get on the plane... righttt. And when were you going to take the pile of clothes to the thrift store? When you got back 2 months later? You were going to leave a pile of clothes on your bed for 2 months? Nothing about this adds up!
