Today, my mom and I took my senile grandmother to the mall, since she doesn't get out much. She complained it was hot, then took her clothing off in the middle of the food court. It took us thirty minutes to make her put her shirt back on. FML

If you're living in her house YDI, get your own life and house and then you can make whatever rules you want. If she's living in your house then FYL, you should let her know she won't be living there much longer if she doesn't stop

I think an important detail is left out here. Are you her son or her daughter? If you're also a female, and it is just you and not your husband or children I don't really see the problem...

she's family does it really matter? I mean there are plenty of things that should be kept private obviously but flouncing about in underwear? hardly "inappropriate" if it's your own mother
