I'm just telling him not to make it more awkward, the parents are at fault here for they should close the door. But still some people tend to make it awkward afterwards. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was saying he's making it awkward.

Just start doing things that will murder the mood for them. Play loud crying baby noises, obnoxious rap music, something annoying like badly played accordion. Maybe they'll shut the door to block the sounds.
