Today, I had a text message when I woke up. I was excited as I usually don't get texts from people. Turns out it was from T-Mobile. They text me more than actual people do. FML

Today, my phone received a text which rarely happens. While getting my phone, I stubbed my toe, just to see a message from a telemarketer. Now my toe hurts and I didn’t even want what they were selling. FML
Today, my phone wasn't working properly. After sending out 40 texts and getting no replies, I decided to test my phone by sending it a text from my old phone. The text came through straight away. Turns out my phone's working perfectly and 40 people are just ignoring me. FML
Today, I finally taught my mom how to text message people. Now I get a message from her every 30 seconds saying "Hi". FML
Today, I found my dead phone that had been missing for two weeks. I turned it on to see that I had only gotten 2 text messages during the two weeks. They were both from my mother. FML
Today, my mom learned how to use the text messaging on her smartphone. I've received 37 already, and she calls after every single one to make sure I understood her. FML

At least you have a phone OP. All I have is my iPod and I can pretty much only use that when I'm at home :(

I feel your pain. Most of my texts are with colleagues or from my Google calendar that I set up when I have an event.

Message as SMS? I'm not even surprised, nobody gets them that often anymore since we have free IM apps, no need for SMS

Me, too. It seems like they text me everyday & like you, it's the only texts I get! Sad, isn't it?
