Today, I got my laptop back after waiting weeks for it to be fixed. It turns out that they didn't fix it; they dusted it off, held it for a few days, and sent it back. FML

Sounds like its time to switch to Mac.

Find a local computer guy who is reasonable on price. That's honest and sets a clear expectation. I am one of those computer guys. I have a personal relationship with my customers.

Same thing happened to me! Except it was 2 months, and one of the RAM slots was smashed in and had tape all over it.

So basically they just cleaned it.

If u pay'd for it to be, it was under warrentie for the problem, and it wasnt truely fixed its grounds to sue.
