Also, there should be an extra fine applied to things like parking tickets for spouses of police officers... They have no excuse not to know better.

Anyone involved in the force, please correct me if I'm wrong, but: don't they have to run the plate before they write a ticket anyway? He probably knew it was her and was just doing his job properly.
