I guess he don't want to have a family Lmao
Maybe I'm reading this differently, but perhaps the Dog belongs to the OP, and they were dog sitting for the family that "found" the dog?
I feel like they would've worded it "I found my lost dog" if it was theirs.
Don't expect a call back when they need someone to watch the kids.
I can read this two ways. Either whilst you were dog sitting you lost their dog and it got rehomed, or you lost your own dog and when you went to dog sit you realise it had been rehomed to this new family
Take it back.
Wait y'all the way I read it, op lost his dog, then when he was dog sitting for someone else, he saw that their dog is actually his dog that he lost.
To be fair, the wording of this one is pretty confusing.
The problem is "while I was dog sitting" can be present or past tense, which is what makes this so confusing for everyone.
You need to tell someone. You messed up. Own it.
I disagree with some of you. "While I was dog sitting" is attached to "lost" not "found." If he wanted to mean it was his dog, it would have been written: "While I was dog sitting, I found the dog I lost," or "I found, while I was dog sitting, the dog I lost." There's also a decent chance it is written incorrectly. Who knows?
I'm confused The comments are confusing too
ADOPTIVE? as opposed to what? birth family? lol
