Your dad won't care about who's the "man" in the relationship when you find someone who makes you happy and loves you, I'm sure he was just joking around. Congrats on finally having the guts to come out, it takes some people at least half their lives when it shouldn't even be a problem in the first place, hopefully one day some people will stop being ignorant assholes.
