Today, I came home after a party to my parents, who confronted me. They said that my phone had made a pocket call to them and they heard a good half hour of people talking about drugs and alcohol. I confessed at that point. I checked my phone after. I hadn't called them in 3 days. FML

Today, I thought I had gotten away with throwing a party while my folks were gone the night before. They came home and I was as sweet as possible. I could tell they were not buying it, but I thought I was in the clear. Later, they told me I had drunk-dialled them and spilled the beans. FML

Today, my parents, who are out of town but driving back tomorrow, called to see how I was doing. They asked if I'd thrown a party in their absence, and I said no. My dad replied, "Well I'm currently looking at pictures on Facebook of our kitchen with beer and a bong on the table." FML

Today, I received a message from front desk that my concerned father is trying to contact me. I call only to hear that my parents were freaking out that I wasn't answering my phone. They saw me 9 hours ago. They were going to call the police. I'm in college and also don't live with them anymore. FML

Today, I went to spend time with friends. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in my bed with several blocked contacts and text messages, saying that what I did was unacceptable. No drugs or alcohol were involved, and I have no memory of this. FML

Today, I was house sitting by myself and I texted my mom saying how thankful I was that she was trusting me and not checking up on me. That night I threw a party at the house. My mom showed up to check on me because my text was "suspicious". FML

Today, I was confronted by my father after I got back home from a party in the early hours. He demanded to know if I'd been doing any drugs, and then decided to give me a scare lecture on the dangers of alcohol. I'd had a few beers. He had the smell of tequila on his breath. FML

Ooooooo drugs are bad. Ooooo drugs do this. SAY NO TO DRUGS. Give me a break man. Or at least do some reading first and then preach on how people are retards for doing drugs. Why exactly are narcotics bad ? No one says anything about smoking and yet tobacco is more harmful than cannabis. No one says anything about alcohol and yet it is more harmful than both tobacco and cannabis. Alcohol is now classified as the 5th most harmful drug behind heroin, cocaine, barbiturates and street methadone. Why doesn't anyone mention caffeine ? How many people drink coffee nowadays ? I've heard so many people say "Oh I can't function properly if I don't drink coffee in the morning". And what about pharmaceutical drugs ? How many people are mentally and physically addicted to them even when most of the times they don't even need them ? Do you even know what kind of accomplishments mankind has done due to someone been on some sort of drug ? Yes, I would look into that too. But nooooo it's all about stupid drugs and stupid teens who waste their lives. I'm not saying go crazy on them and die from them. It's all about balance. You seem to be targeting teens by the way. Does that mean it is ok for adults to do it ? The phrase "teens these days" should be said for you. Don't be a sheep and just do what they tell you. Instead, make an informed decision. No one is perfect. Bazinga!
