Ah, FML logic. If a kid throws a fit about their birthday presents because they wanted different toys, they're a brat. But when a kid throws a fit because he wanted some extra help for college instead of a nice car it's suddenly okay. It doesn't mean the dad is immature or doesn't know anything about his kid. Most teenagers would be thrilled for a brand new car.
